The Beginning.

Hello Internet,

That's an awfully pretentious tittle, don't you think? That's right up there with the beginning of the Bible and probably a few other Holy Books, isn't it? Who do I think I am? God? These are a lot of questions for the very beginning of a blog, aren't they? That's just plain frustrating - and a direct "no no"  from English class (notice the hyphens - also learned in English class).

Well I've been meaning to do this for quite a while now, and by "this" I clearly mean start a blog. I'm not sure why, really anything I have to say isn't particularly interesting or special, but I guess with the internet the way it is today I feel like it would be a waste to not put myself out there into the World Wide Web and exist electronically. I feel like, by having every bit of information at our fingertips, I owe it to you, almighty internet, to share who I am with you; that I should include myself in the searchable never ending database that is "Internet". After all, you are just a series of tubes and I am a real person. So now, with this blog/facebook/tumblr/twitter/and videos I submit myself to your database.

I'm not sure how to start this so I'll pull an old move from high school paper writing and start with some facts. My name is Kyle. I'm 20 years old. I live in Tennessee. I'm a sophomore college student and I really can't spell. I think I'm hilarious, but mostly I'm just a nerd.

The reason I'm really hoping to continue with this blog is because: I'm 20 years old and in school studying and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I know I'm not the only one, as a matter of fact, apparently this is a really common feeling among us youngsters. I know I'm not alone but I'm hoping to figure it out soon. This blog, dear internet, is for you to observe me figuring out my life. I have a feeling you're going to help me a lot along the way and hopefully you can enjoy the ride and the rewards.
